Weight Management

In my tailored program I work with you to identify patterns, beliefs and decisions that are influencing your eating habits. Many people that come to me have tried numerous diets with limited success because unconsciously they feel that every diet is depriving them of the foods they like and the associated pleasures.

Hypnosis has been proven very effective to help you let go of the deprived feeling and end the internal struggle for good. Hypnotherapy is a focused and safe way to change your mindset, feelings and behaviours. With the use of various therapeutic techniques I help you transform your attitudes towards food and feel motivated to exercise so you achieve your desired outcomes.

Finding new respect for yourself and focusing on other aspects of life rather than food allows you to feel free and move on to fulfilling your dreams and desires.

Virtual Gastric Banding

The Virtual Gastric Band program is extremely effective in helping people lose weight. This program does not involve dieting and uses a virtual gastric band combined with other mind management techniques to enable clients to form new habits that are easy to maintain.

By engaging the unconscious mind you feel satisfied on smaller amounts of food, change your eating routine and enjoy exercise easily and healthfully. During the clinical trials in the UK effective weight loss was achieved by 99% of participants. I use the Virtual Gastric Band methodology developed by Sheila Granger.

Quit Smoking

You can quit smoking for good! Tens of thousands of people have quit smoking using hypnosis. When you come in for a session I will learn about your smoking habit and discuss how you want to quit. You can stop all at once or taper off.

I recommend two appointments, three to seven days apart. With this, most people will either stop smoking or cut back to only one or two cigarettes a day. The second session is necessary to reinforce the changes. There is a small percentage that will require more sessions to quit smoking. For those that need more help, I am here for them, too.

You don't have to gain weight because you quit smoking! You may even lose weight. I will help you replace the smoking habit with positive behaviours to take advantage of the time you used to spend smoking. If you smoke 30 cigarettes a day and spend about 5 minutes on each cigarette that's 2-1/2 hours a day! You need to plan for that time or you will tend to gain weight.

I originally started looking for some help with losing weight and thought I would give hypnosis a try. I am so thankful I came across Anya who I felt comfortable with straight away. Very quickly Anya helped me to realise that the change I needed to make in my life was concerning alcohol and not necessarily weight loss. I have now not had alcohol for three months and it isn't even an issue anymore. I don't even think about it. This being from a person who consumed it everyday!
